It is still nice weather in Portugal, but good to pick the last chilis from the garden. You can use them fresh, do some chilioel, dry them for chiliflakes or chili salt.
Today I did chili salt. You need around 200 g of chili and 150 g of coarse sea salt.
Cut the chili, place them on baking paper and dry for about 1 h in the oven with 60 degrees. Shred in a food processor and mix with the salt.
Dry again in the oven, 60 degrees and turn over from time to time. After 45 min it should be ok.
Fill the salt in nice little glases. A nice Christmas present.
